Thanksgiving 2008

This has been the best Thanksgiving ever! Giana and I went to Grandma's (my mom's) first thing in the morning. We learned how to cook the turkey, stuffing, and helped her get everything prepared. Giana did such a good job cooking!

Playing Dress-Up

Giana has become such a big girl. Now that I am pregnant it really makes me think back to how helpless she once was.There was a time when she could not do anything without me and now she is playing dress-up and putting on make-up.

Pregnancy Update

Week 13
I went for my 12 week check up on Friday. The baby is completely healthy and all is well. There is nothing more amazing than getting to hear the heartbeat of something so small.
This week the baby is not 3 inches; about the size of a peach. The eyes have moved from the side of the head towards the middle of the face and it's little ears will now lie flat against the skull. The baby's intestines will also begin to move up from the umbilical cord into the abdomen.
I am so excited to be in my second trimester. The sickness and tiredness have already began to subside; and I feel so much better.

Holloween

Last Friday Giana's class put on a holloween performance. They sang several holloween songs and a little dance. Definately the cutest thing ever! Here are some pictures of her dancing.

Swimming Lessons

We signed Giana up for swimming lessons at the rec center. She did so good. She loves the water; before class even starts she was jumping in and putting her face under water. This week she learned how to sit dive, float on her back, and blow bubbles.

The leaves are falling!

Giana and papa Ron had so much raking up the leaves and jumping in them. Giana loves to see the leaves changing colors. This year is so much fun; Giana understands what season it is and the meaning of each holiday.

Holloween- Trick or Treat

Trick or treating was so much fun! Giana made it so much further than she did last year, about 10 houses.
